Raise capital with confidence.

Operator Dashboard & Widgets

The Fund Flow operator dashboard is a configurable home screen that shows real-time snapshots of your most important business metrics. Every widget pulls live data from your CRM, deals, and loan records — no manual refresh needed.

The dashboard is available on all plans (Free, Standard, Professional).

Default Widget Layout

When you first log in as an operator, the dashboard loads with a default set of widgets:

  1. Contacts by Stage — funnel breakdown of your investor pipeline
  2. Pipeline Value — total capital committed across active deals
  3. Capital Raised — closed equity versus target across all deals
  4. Activity Feed — chronological log of recent CRM events
  5. Tasks — your upcoming and overdue tasks

The default layout is a starting point. You can add, remove, reorder, and resize any widget to match your workflow.

Widget Reference

Contacts by Stage

Shows the distribution of contacts across your pipeline stages as a horizontal bar chart or funnel view.

  • Stages shown: All active pipeline stages configured in Settings > Pipeline Stages
  • Click-through: Click any stage bar to open a filtered Contacts list for that stage
  • Useful for: Identifying bottlenecks (e.g., many contacts stuck in "Contacted" stage)

Pipeline Value

Displays the total dollar value of capital being sought across all active deals, grouped by deal status.

ColumnDefinition
Target RaiseSum of target raise amounts across active deals
Soft CommitsSum of soft-committed capital from investor records
Hard CommitsSum of hard-committed (signed) capital
% to CloseHard Commits / Target Raise × 100

Capital Raised

A progress visualization showing how much equity has been closed relative to target, broken down by individual deal. Useful for portfolio-level fundraising status at a glance.

  • Color coding: Green (>75% of target), Yellow (25–75%), Red (<25%)
  • Includes: Only deals in "Active" or "Closing" status

Loans

Summary of all active loan records managed in the Loans module.

  • Outstanding balance — sum of remaining principal across all loans
  • Next payment due — the earliest upcoming payment date
  • Overdue count — loans with a missed payment in the past 30 days

Click View All Loans to jump to the full Loans list with filters intact.

Activity Feed

A chronological stream of CRM events across your organization:

  • New contacts added (manual or imported)
  • Pipeline stage changes
  • Email sends and opens (when Gmail integration is connected)
  • Document uploads and shares
  • Commitment status changes
  • Notes and task completions

The feed shows the 50 most recent events. Use the Contacts or Deals detail pages for a full event history on a specific record.

Tip

Use the Activity Feed during your daily stand-up to quickly review what changed overnight — new investor inquiries, stage progressions, or document activity from your team.

Tasks

Shows your assigned open tasks, sorted by due date. Overdue tasks appear in red at the top.

  • Click any task to open the detail panel and mark it complete
  • Click + Add Task to create a new task directly from the dashboard
  • Use the View All link to open the full Tasks page with advanced filtering

Managing Widgets

Adding a Widget

  1. Click the + Add Widget button in the top-right corner of the dashboard.
  2. A drawer opens showing all available widgets. Widgets already on your dashboard are grayed out.
  3. Click a widget to add it to the bottom of your current layout.

Customizing a Widget

  1. Hover over any widget to reveal the settings gear icon in the top-right corner of that widget.
  2. Click the gear to open the widget configuration panel.
  3. Adjust available options (date range, deal filter, stage filter, display mode) and click Save.

Rearranging Widgets

Drag any widget by its header bar to reorder it on the canvas. The layout is a vertical single-column stack on mobile and a two-column grid on desktop. Drop the widget in the desired position — other widgets shift automatically.

Resizing Widgets

On desktop, widgets can span one column (half width) or two columns (full width). Click the Expand / Collapse icon in the widget header to toggle between sizes.

Removing a Widget

  1. Hover over the widget and click the gear icon.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the configuration panel and click Remove Widget.

Removed widgets can be re-added at any time from the + Add Widget drawer. No data is deleted when a widget is removed.

Note

Widget layout preferences are saved per user, not per organization. Each team member can configure their own dashboard independently.

Dashboard Filters

The global Date Range selector in the dashboard toolbar filters time-sensitive widgets (Activity Feed, Capital Raised progress) to the selected window. Options:

  • Last 7 days
  • Last 30 days
  • Last 90 days
  • Year to date
  • Custom range

Structural widgets (Contacts by Stage, Loans summary) always show current state regardless of the date filter.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I create multiple dashboards for different focuses? Multiple saved dashboard layouts are a Professional plan feature on the roadmap. Currently, all operators share a single configurable dashboard per user account.

Why does my Pipeline Value widget show $0? The widget only counts deals in "Active" or "Closing" status. If all your deals are in "Draft" or "Closed", the total will be zero. Check the status of your deals in the Deals section.

How often does the data update? Most widgets refresh in real time when you load the page. The Activity Feed updates every 60 seconds while the page is open. Analytics-heavy widgets (Capital Raised) may have up to a 5-minute cache.

Can I export dashboard data? Individual widget data can be exported from the underlying module (Contacts, Deals, Loans). There is no direct "export dashboard as PDF" feature currently.

Are dashboard widgets visible to investors? No. The operator dashboard is only visible to users with Operator or Admin roles. Investors see a separate investor portal dashboard with their own holdings and documents.
